During your child's second grade journey, there are many ways you can help. Please consider the following: 1. Read to your child as often as possible. 2. Sit down and eat dinner together. 3. Restrict the number of evening activities for your child. Having too many of these can create stress and can make children tired. 4. Provide a nourishing breakfast each morning. 5. Limit the amount of television viewing and video playing. 6. Set a reasonable bedtime so that your child gets between 8-10 hours of sleep.
