Take time to sit down and talk with your child (dinner time) about his day at school. 4. Make sure that your child gets 8-10 hours of sleep every night. 5. Provide a healthy breakfast before school. 6. Foster your child's self-esteem.
Homework: A homework packet is sent home each Monday through Thursday and is due back the next day. Suggestions for helping your child with homework:
1. Make sure your child has a quiet well lit place to work. 2. Have materials your child needs such as: paper, pencils, and crayons available. 3. Always express a positive attitude about their homework. 4. Provide guidance when your child asks for help rather than giving them answers.
